Besides having nice views of the beach, there are plenty of drinks available at the bar, pool tables, and TVs to catch the game. The bar is known for having quirky signs on the marquee outside, such as “We Love Bennies” during the summer. Patrons like that there’s no need to leave furry friends at home because dogs are welcome in the bar.
The Listing
The online listing is asking for $2,499,900 for EJ’s Tap House. It boasts the boardwalk and oceanfront location, saying it was “recently renovated” and has indoor and outdoor seating. The property also includes three parking spaces. It says there’s “a huge basement that could be used for expansion, offices, extra walk-ins and storage, kitchen etc.”
The bar measures 6,000 square feet and is located right below Sheridan Avenue. This is a key location, because back in 2020, the Seaside Heights borough council voted to limit the size of bars on the northern end of the boardwalk. The ordinance limits restaurants and bars on the boardwalk north of Sheridan Avenue to 5,000 feet or less, with no more than 15 seats at a bar area.

Per the listing: “Lots of room to add a kitchen also at main level. Be part of the huge renaissance taking place in Seaside. Located adjacent from the World Famous Casino Pier with dozens of rides and amusements at your doorstep. This property has unlimited potential. This Perfect Corner Oceanfront location is 1 hour from NYC, Philly and AC off Parkway Exit 82. More info available upon request.”
While the liquor license is included in the sale, a new owner could choose to develop the property for another business and privately sell the license. The Jersey Shore Girl has reached out to the team involved in the sale for more information and will update this piece when we hear back.
