The Local Girl The third Northern Virginia location of Wonder, a modern food hall, will open on October 29th, 2025, in Reston. Wonder will be located at 11690 Plaza America Drive in Reston. The company’s model incorporates dozens of chefs and restaurants under one roof, accessible in person and by an app. Read on for more about what patrons can expect from this 21st-century take on the classic food hall model.
About Wonder
Wonder is the 21st-century version of a traditional food hall. Dozens of food spots are under one roof, and patrons can dine in or order takeout or delivery. The options range from neighborhood favorites to Michelin-starred chefs’ offerings, ready-to-go items, and meal kits.
Entrepreneur Marc Lore founded Wonder in 2021. The company has 70 brick-and-mortar locations in NYC, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and Washington, DC. Northern Virginia is part of the company’s 2025 growth goals, with three locations opening this year. Wonder Rosslyn opened in July 2025 at 1771 N. Pierce Street, Unit 100. Wonder Springfield opened earlier this month at 7001 F Manchester Boulevard.

Patrons can order using Wonder’s own app, and can choose from multiple restaurants in one order. Perhaps this is one way to solve the problem of getting everyone in the family to agree on one location for dinner.
A proud partner of Capital Area Food Bank, which provided over 64 million meals to neighbors in need last year, Wonder will donate $1 from every meal sold in the first week of Wonder Franconia and Wonder Reston to CAFB and will allow patrons to “round up” their change to donate to CAFB with every order, year-round.
What to Expect
Wonder Reston will be Wonder’s largest DMV location so far. This location has offerings unique to Reston residents, including Jota by José Andrés, a collection of the famed Washington chef’s iconic Spanish dishes; Bankside, with Southern-style po-boys and seafood staples by Chef JJ Bankside; and Barrio Cafe, with regional Mexican dishes created by Phoenix star Chef Silvana Salcido Esparza.

Wonder Reston will open with a celebration on October 30th, 2025, beginning at 4:30PM, with samples from Wonder’s restaurant partners and exclusive giveaways. Wonder Reston will be open 10:30AM-11:30PM daily.
