The Fairfax Girl Team It’s that time of year when our calendars and to-do lists are full of holiday cheer. As busy and time-crunched as we may feel, no one is busier than the big guy in red. Santa and his helpers will be making appearances at several brunches, breakfasts, cookie tastings, and other events. Read on for the best Santa brunches and storytimes in Northern Virginia.

Storytime with Santa at Merrifield Garden Center | 12101 Route 29, Fairfax
Dates: November 29; December 5, 10, 12, 13, 17, 19, 21
Santa tells Christmas stories, sings songs, and holds a press conference where children can ask him questions. This event lasts approximately 1 hour. All children will have a brief opportunity to talk to Santa and have their photo taken. Each child needs a ticket, and ticket proceeds benefit Child Life Services at Inova L.J. Murphy Children’s Hospital.

This is a laid-back breakfast event with crafts and games to keep little ones occupied before Santa’s arrival. The breakfast buffet will include kid-friendly menu items plus plentiful hot cocoa. There will be plenty of opportunities for photos with Santa throughout the event.
