Bear Chase Brewing Company sits on a mountain property in Bluemont with sweeping views across the Virginia countryside, making it particularly impressive as the fall colors arrive. The large property includes its Brew Barn, indoor and outdoor gathering spaces, food, and plenty of room to spend an afternoon outside.
Live music takes place every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, so a fall visit can easily turn into a full afternoon or evening. Because Bear Chase stays open into the evening, it is also a good option for catching a fall sunset over the mountains with a locally brewed pint in hand.

Dirt Farm Brewing might have one of the best brewery views in Northern Virginia. The taproom and expansive patio sit on the Blue Ridge mountainside overlooking the Loudoun Valley, and fall brings layers of orange, red, and yellow to the scenery below.
Dirt Farm’s current lineup includes a pumpkin ale, while the brewery regularly hosts seasonal beer releases, dinners, live music, workshops, and other events. Visitors can also hit the trails on the property before rewarding themselves with a pint afterward.

Honor Brewing has fully committed to fall beer season. The brewery’s 2026 autumn lineup includes Pumpkin Ain’t Easy, a pumpkin ale, and Honorfest, its Oktoberfest-style lager. There is also Uncle Sam, a cranberry wheat ale, for anyone ready to move from early fall flavors into Thanksgiving territory. The Sterling location pairs the brewery with a full restaurant, making this an easy option for a cooler-weather meal and flight of seasonal beer. Fall at Solace comes with both beer and football. The Sterling brewery hosts Commanders watch parties throughout the season and has multiple TVs for anyone whose ideal autumn Sunday involves an IPA rather than a pumpkin patch.
Solace is also celebrating Oktoberfest on September 12th, 2026, with the release of its Festbier, Solace steins, German-inspired food specials, Oktoberfest merchandise, and live music from the Hot Taters Oktoberfest Band.
