Time: 5:30 PM – 9:30 PM

On June 26th, 2026, from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM, there will be music concerts, family entertainment, food vendors, and fireworks at 9:15 PM.

Date: June 26th, 2026
Time: 6PM-10PM

Loudoun County’s annual Star-Spangled Sterling celebration includes entertainment, a live DJ, food trucks, outdoor family games, interactive historic displays, free glowsticks, ice pops, and other Independence Day giveaways while supplies last. Fireworks begin at approximately 9:30PM.

Workhouse Arts Center’s Red, White, and BOOM! brings an evening of live music, entertainment, food trucks, drinks, mini golf, and kid-friendly fun including midway carnival activities and free interactive activities. The night wraps with a fireworks show, with general parking available in advance for $35 or $40 day-of.

Independence Celebration at Lake Fairfax Park | 1400 Lake Fairfax Drive, Reston
Date: June 27, 2026
Time: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM

On June 27, 2026, from 5 PM to 10 PM, during the 250th birthday of the USA, there will be food vendors, entertainment, fun for the whole family, and a patriotic drone light show at 9:15 PM instead of the usual fireworks at Lake Fairfax Park.

What a Blast! | Hal + Berni Hanson Regional Park Championship Plaza, 23345 Hanson Park Drive, Aldie
Date: Saturday, June 27th, 2026
Time: 5PM-10PM

This celebration includes live music, games, food trucks, beverages for purchase, and a Fourth of July American flag aerial display featuring professional skydivers between 6:30PM and 7PM. Fireworks begin at approximately 9:30PM. The fireworks rain date is Sunday, June 28th at 9:30PM.

McLean Independence Day Fireworks at Langley High School | 6520 Georgetown Pike, McLean

The McLean Community Center will be hosting residents to celebrate the Fourth of July from 5 PM to 10 PM on June 27, 2026 at Langley High School. The event has a lively community feel and ends with a fireworks display at 9:15 PM.

 

Vienna 4th of July Festival & Fireworks at Yeonas Park | 1319 Ross Drive SW, Vienna
Date: July 2, 2026
Time: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM

 Vienna’s annual celebration will take place from 6 PM to 10 PM on July 2, 2026. People can enjoy games, food, music, and activities before the fireworks start at 9:30 PM at sunset.

Lovettsville Independence Day Celebration | Lovettsville Community Center + Lovettsville Community Park
Date: Friday, July 3rd, 2026
Time: Parade at 5:30PM, park activities at 6PM, Pool Bash at 6:30PM

The hometown parade begins at Lovettsville Community Park, travels down Broad Way, turns onto S. Loudoun Street, and ends at Lovettsville Elementary School. The celebration continues with carnival games, an inflatable obstacle course, a DJ, face painting, food for purchase, interactive historic displays, and fireworks at approximately 9:30PM. The Pool Bash is $5 per person. The fireworks rain date is Monday, July 6th at 9:30PM.

Great Falls Hometown Celebration is on July 4, 2026. It has a small-town feel that brings neighbors together for a day of patriotic events. Morning activities will be held from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM, followed by an evening celebration from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM. It includes a community parade, local vendors, activities, and a fireworks show at 9:00 PM.

Herndon’s Independence Day celebration is a longtime tradition and will be held from 6:30 PM to 10 PM on July 4, 2026. Before the fireworks show starts at 9:30 PM, families will enjoy live music, sample a variety of foods, play games, and take part in tons of festivities.

Leesburg Independence Day Celebration | 60 Ida Lee Drive NW, Leesburg

On July 4, 2026, from 6 PM to 10 PM, one of Loudoun County’s most popular Fourth of July events features live entertainment, food trucks, and children’s activities, with fireworks beginning at 9:30 PM.

National Mall Fireworks Viewing Near Key Bridge | Arlington, Alexandria 
Date: July 4, 2026
Time: 9:40 PM

On July 4, 2026, the area around the Key Bridge and along the Potomac River waterfront will be crowded with people seeking an easy way to reach the fireworks over the National Mall. Fireworks viewing will be available throughout the entire day, with the display starting at 9:40 PM.

Independence Day in Middleburg | Various Locations, Middleburg

Middleburg’s July 4th celebration kicks off at noon with the National Anthem, Presentation of Colors, and Reading of the Declaration of Independence at the Middleburg Museum, followed by free swimming, hot dogs, popsicles, games, and a live flag-painting discussion. The evening includes a decorated Kids’ Parade, a community party with live music, food trucks, and a mayoral welcome at Middleburg Community Charter School, ending with a larger-than-ever fireworks display around 9:15PM.

Claude Moore Park Fourth Fest | Claude Moore Park, 21544 Old Vestals Gap Road, Sterling
Date: Saturday, July 4th, 2026
Time: 10:30AM-3PM

Claude Moore Park’s annual Fourth Fest includes live music, crafts, nature exhibits, historic tours, carnival games, and food for purchase. Attendees should use the Loudoun Park Lane entrance. Parking is available at the Loudoun Heritage Farm Museum, 21668 Heritage Lane, or the Claude Moore Park Visitor Center.

Franklin on the Fourth | Franklin Park, 17501 Franklin Park Drive, Purcellville
Date: Saturday, July 4th, 2026
Time: 5PM-10PM

Franklin on the Fourth includes giant inflatables, games, a live DJ, face painting, glitter tattoos, food for purchase, interactive historic displays, and live music from the Loudoun Jazz Ensemble from 7:30PM to 8:30PM. Fireworks begin at approximately 9:30PM and will be accompanied by live music from Loudoun Symphonic Winds. The Franklin Park Pool will also have holiday hours from 11AM to 4PM, with normal pool fees applying. The fireworks rain date is Sunday, July 5th at 9:30PM.

USA Birthday Celebration at Oronoco Bay Park | 100 Madison Street, Alexandria
Date: July 11, 2026 
Time: 6:00 PM – 9:45 PM

You can enjoy waterfront fun with live music, food vendors, and family activities. This eventful evening comes to an end with a fireworks display on the Potomac River at 9:30 PM.
