No fall in Northern Virginia is complete without getting turned around in a field of corn. From sprawling 10-acre mazes to family-friendly cornfield adventures, several farms throughout NoVA are bringing back their fall attractions for the 2026 season. Some spots even have nighttime versions for anyone looking to tackle the maze with a flashlight (or something a little scarier). Read on for a guide to corn mazes in Northern Virginia for fall 2026.
Cox Farms | 15621 Braddock Road, Centreville
Cox Farms’ annual Fall Festival returns September 19th through November 8th, 2026. Instead of a traditional puzzle-style corn maze, the festival has the Cornundrum Cornfield Adventure, a walk-through attraction tucked among the corn. Admission also includes the farm’s famous hayride, giant slides, farm animals, rope swings, Foamhenge, themed play areas, and a small pumpkin to take home.
Those looking for something significantly scarier can return after dark for Fields of Fear, which runs on select nights during the fall. Its attractions include Cornightmare, a haunted trail through the cornfield. Fields of Fear requires a separate ticket and is geared toward older visitors.
Great Country Farms | 18780 Foggy Bottom Road, Bluemont
Great Country Farms starts its corn maze season early, with the maze open as part of its September Apple Harvest festivities before transitioning into the Pumpkin Harvest Festival later in the season. The farm has plenty to do beyond the maze, including giant jumping pillows, slides, a Farm Ninja obstacle course, miniature golf, farm animals, and wagon rides.
There are also Family Flashlight Corn Maze Nights, where visitors can bring flashlights and navigate the maze after dark before gathering around a bonfire.
Adults can check out the farm’s Adult Corn Maze Nights, which are 21+ evenings featuring the nighttime maze, bonfires, live music, and hard cider from neighboring Henway Hard Cider.
Maple Tree Farm | 8275 Maple Tree Lane, Warrenton
Maple Tree Farm’s Fall Pumpkin Festival brings pumpkins, train rides, farm animals, and a corn maze to Warrenton each fall. The family-run farm’s seasonal lineup also includes its Maple Tree Express train, cow train, playground, and other activities geared toward families with younger children.

Messick’s Farm Market | 6025 Catlett Road, Bealeton

Messick’s Farm Market hosts its annual Fall Festival on select dates throughout September and October. This is a working family farm that has a corn maze and other seasonal activities include a pumpkin patch, tractor rides, photo opportunities, homemade treats, the candy cannon, live music, and family-friendly farm fun. TFG tip: the farm store at Messick’s is incredible – make sure to pack a cooler for all your goodies.

Wayside Farm Fun is home to one of the area’s biggest seasonal attractions: a 10-acre corn maze. Each year, the maze has its own theme and challenges visitors to make their way through a sprawling network of paths in the cornfield. Admission also includes activities like pig races on select days, a jumping pillow, Hay Mountain, farm slides, farm animals, duck races, and a pumpkin playhouse. Pick-your-own pumpkins are also available separately, making this an easy option for a full fall day trip.

Belvedere Plantation | 1410 Belvedere Drive, Fredericksburg

Belvedere Plantation is a bit outside the traditional Northern Virginia footprint, but its Great Adventure Maize Maze makes it worth mentioning for anyone up for a longer fall day trip. The maze is part of the farm’s annual Fall Harvest Festival, which also has dozens of seasonal attractions. Visitors can expect activities like a giant jumping pillow, pedal carts, racing slides, farm animals, wagon rides, pumpkin-themed attractions, and a Great Pumpkin Patch.
A Note About Temple Hall Farm: Northern Virginia residents may remember the massive corn maze at Temple Hall Farm Regional Park in Leesburg. NOVA Parks has discontinued the corn maze and transitioned the property’s fall programming to the Temple Hall Pumpkin Patch + Flower Fields. The fall event still includes pumpkin picking, wagon rides, farm animals, jumping pillows, slides, and other activities, but visitors should not expect a corn maze.
