Annual Library of Shadows Fundraiser

Event Info: https://jerseycityfreepubliclibraryfoundation-bloom.kindful.com/e/library-of-shadow-2026

What happens when the lights go out at the Library? You are invited to find out. For one night, the historic Priscilla Gardner Main Library becomes LIBRARY OF SHADOWS. Step inside for an evening featuring:

• DJ Dance Party | Get on the dance floor and stay there.
• Haunted Trivia | Think you know Jersey City, Halloween, history, and the supernatural? Prove it.
• Costume Contest | Come dressed to impress. Prizes await the night’s most unforgettable looks.
• Food and Drinks | Because every good haunting requires refreshments.

And, of course…

The Jersey City Free Public Library itself.

Historic architecture. Dark corners. Beautiful details. And a completely different atmosphere after dark.
