This year’s Walk to Bust Cancer is important.
It marks 11 YEARS providing access to life-saving screenings for women in the NoVA and DMV area.
The Walk also comes at a critical time.
A growing number of women (+ men) are hurting in our area from lost jobs and healthcare coverage. Many are skipping health appointments even though missing even one annual mammogram can have a significant impact on a woman’s future.
