For families. We’ll begin with an introduction to freshwater fishing and learn to target specific fish species, fishing equipment, knots, bait selection, and technique. Participants will make their own “Altoids Tin Fishing Tackle Kit” to use on site and then take home. Basic equipment is provided, but you are welcome to bring your own. Meet at the waterfront area in the Essex County South Mountain Recreation Complex, West Orange, near the Clipper Pavilion and boat rental. Led by David Alexander. Fee: $20 per person
Both child and adult must register.
There are no refunds for missed programs.
Adults will assist children in the program but may only fish if they purchase a license from New Jersey Fish & Wildlife.
