During the Revolutionary Era Loudoun County was home to a diverse population, including statesmen, soldiers, farmers, enslaved and free Black people, women, preachers, and others who made an impact and altered the nation’s history.

This exhibit will explore the different perspectives of those residing in Loudoun County during the time of the American Revolution and how they experienced the era in different and sometimes conflicting ways.
