The Bergen County Girl visited in November for a refreshing outing, knowing we wanted to get some exercise and enjoy the scenery. Ramapo Valley fit the bill, and we were able to see the lake at the top of our hike. It was an easy way to get some fresh air and some steps in. This park is known for having some of the best foliage in Northern New Jersey, proving the point that a visit here is always in season.

You can find maps of Ramapo Valley County Reservation trails through the New York- New Jersey Trail Conference.
