Katrina Hauser Bergen County coffee lovers can rejoice once more, as a new coffee shop has landed at 272 Ridge Road in Lyndhurst. Drip Lab Coffee Co. has officially opened after months of renovations, and the team is excited to bring delicious coffee and other treats to the community. Read on to find out what to expect from this exciting new drip coffee spot that’s dropping into the Lyndhurst coffee scene.
About the Space
Drip Lab Coffee Co. is located at 272 Ridge Road in Lyndhurst, in a building that was previously home to a college planning business. Owners Volkan Demirbulakla and Recep Emin Ozaydin, who also goes by Rio, began renovations to the space on May 20th after permits from the town were approved.

Rio, whose primary passion is filmmaking, had experience constructing sets but had never completed a project of this scale. However, after a few months of hard work, the business was able to open on Friday, September 11th. They hosted a grand opening event from 1PM-6PM, inviting friends and neighbors to try the coffee shop for the first time. Staff even had vegan Turkish “meatballs,” which were actually made of lentils, to share with everyone who stopped by.
Inside, the coffee shop has a bar alongside the window with seats and a bench with adjustable trays. There is a spacious countertop complete with an espresso machine and drip coffee setup. They also have a stereo sound system, which the owners hope to use to draw in music lovers as well as coffee fanatics.
Menu Offerings
Currently, the coffee shop serves hot and iced pour-over coffees that the team roasts in a warehouse in Moonachie. The spectrum of coffee strength includes light, medium, medium-dark, and dark roasts. In the near future, the owners hope to honor their heritage by serving Turkish coffee. They also offer espresso drinks, matcha lattes, and steeped teas. Milk options include whole, 2%, half-and-half, almond, coconut, and oat. Drip Lab also carries flavors such as pumpkin spice, maple, caramel, and vanilla.

Open from 6AM-6PM every day, the team behind this new coffee shop is excited to bring delicious coffee, thoughtful service, and good music to the Lyndhurst area. Though this is the first Drip Lab Coffee Co. location, the owners are looking to expand if they see success.
