This season of The Masked Singer will be taped at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford beginning September 30th. What is The Masked Singer?
Bring together icons from every industry, add singing, costumes, and a little mystery, and you get The Masked Singer. This reality show is a singing competition where famous people from the music industry, comedy, professional athletics, and everything in between compete until the last man standing.
However, all of the singers are disguised from head to toe in elaborate animal or object costumes to keep their identities hidden. Celebrity judges then try to guess who is behind each costume based on their voice and a “clue package” video, which offers hints about the singer’s identity.

After the performances, contestants are eliminated through audience and/or panelist votes, depending on the format of the season. The singer who receives the fewest votes is sent home and must finally reveal their identity by taking off their mask. Some episodes also feature a Battle Royale, where two contestants compete in a final performance before one is eliminated.
Some of the celebrities that have appeared on the show in the past include rapper and hip-hop artist Lil Wayne dressed up as a robot and the longtime Hollywood icon Dick Van Dyke disguised as a gnome.
For this season of The Masked Singer, fans can expect an all-star panel of judges including Nick Cannon, Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, Robin Thicke, and Rita Ora.
How to Attend The Masked Singer
The reality show is currently offering free tickets for those 12 years old and over to be part of the show’s live audience. The taping dates are September 30, October 2, October 5, October 7, and October 9, all occurring at 4:30 PM.
The Masked Singer also offers priority tickets, which give ticket holders front-of-the-line access and admission ahead of general admission guests. Tickets are released through On Camera Audiences, with show dates posted up to 60 days in advance. The space is a standing-room-only show, so there will be no seats available unless a participant has wheelchair-accessible tickets for those who require accessible seating.
The set is designed around a standing pit audience, but there will be a rest area during short breaks. Attendees can expect to be at the show for four to five hours, starting from the arrival time of the ticket.
