Juneteenth at Fort Lee: The Tuskegee Airmen (1995) | Fort Lee Historic Park, Hudson Terrace

In recognition of Juneteenth, Fort Lee will host a screening of The Tuskegee Airmen (1995) on June 19th at 1PM. The film tells the story of the first Black military aviators in the U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II, highlighting their courage, perseverance, and service in the face of racial discrimination. The screening commemorates the history and significance of Juneteenth while acknowledging the challenges many Black veterans faced after World War II, including barriers to accessing benefits provided through the GI Bill.
