What Is Slick City?

Slick City bills itself as the world’s first indoor slide park, with attractions designed to recreate the speed and sensation of waterslides without the water. The concept, launched in Denver in 2022, was co-founded by Bron Launsby and Gary Schmit. It has since expanded to dozens of locations across the country. The company’s slides are developed through a partnership with Slick Slide, which specializes in the technology behind the attractions and slide mats. According to Slick City, the company has filed 63 patents and patent applications related to its proprietary technology. The indoor format is designed to give visitors a place to enjoy high-energy attractions year-round, regardless of the weather.
