About the Event

Hurricane Harbor, the waterpark at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, hosted the 16th annual “World Largest Swimming Lesson” on the morning of Thursday, June 26th. The event kicked off at 9:30AM at Blue Lagoon in Hurricane Harbor, per a press release.

The Hurricane Harbor staff was joined by approximately 150 participants from waterparks, aquatic centers and swim schools across the country for the event, including those from local non-profit and event partner Big Brothers Big Sisters of Coastal + Northern NJ. Children and their families were invited to enjoy a day at Six Flags and its 50+ attractions after the event. As a partner for the event, BBBSCNNJ is looking to expand access to aquatics education and grow the park’s charitable program.
