Toms River Brewing gave Devils fans a chance to weigh in on the new beer’s name and design, and Slap Shot was the winning choice. The result is a crisp, refreshing American lager made with hockey season in mind. Slap Shot comes in at 4.2% ABV and marks another collaboration between the Jersey Shore brewery and the New Jersey Devils, giving fans a new way to celebrate their team as the season gets underway. For the first time, the New Jersey Devils’ NHL logo will also appear on the can. Slap Shot will be available at Prudential Center, bars, and stores throughout New Jersey.

The new Slap Shot lager is the latest collaboration between Toms River Brewing and the New Jersey Devils. The organizations first announced their partnership in 2022, launching a Devils-themed beer called Stick Toss, a Kölsch-style ale. Since then, the partnership has continued to connect the Toms River brewery with Devils fans across the state. Now, Slap Shot is bringing the partnership into a new NHL season, with a name chosen by the fans themselves.

The Devils Hit the Ice October 1st
