Wildwood Puppapalooza Details

The Wildwood Puppapalooza event will be a full day of dog-friendly fun. The event will take place on Sunday, September 7th, 2025 starting at 9:45AM and include both a beach walk and a dog-friendly pool party for all of the pups and their parents at the Jersey Shore. Locals have the option to enjoy both the beach walk and pool party, or just the pool party. If you don’t have a dog but still wish to tag along with your friends and family, there are also spectator passes available — keep reading for more info on how to get tickets.

Puppapalooza will kick off with two beach walk sessions with your pup. Participants can choose from a 9:45AM start or an 11:15AM start. The one-mile beach walk path goes north along the high tide line, then onto Adventure Pier, then loops back to the beach, finishing at PigDog. At the end of the walk, each dog will receive a goody bag with some Puppapalooza swag.

After both the dogs and dog parents get their steps in, it’s time for the pool party. This part of the event will take place at Raging Waters Water Park, located on Morey’s Piers right on the waterfront. Those who choose the 9:45AM beach walk will have access to the water park from 10:30AM-11:45AM, and participants for the 11:15AM walk will have access from 12PM-1:15PM. These time slots are exclusive to those joining the beach walks. If you and your pup are just heading to the pool party, the one-hour time slots start at 1:30PM and are chosen when purchasing tickets.

This pool party is truly just for the pups. There will be several fun water activities to choose from, including paddling along the river adventure, fetching tennis balls in the activity pool, and more — complemented by some doggie ice cream, of course. Please note: only dogs are permitted in the water during the pool party event. Owners can indulge in food and beverage options and relax in the Wildwood sun while the pups play.

A few things to note before heading to the pool party:

  • You must bring your printed e-ticket to check-in
  • Dogs and handlers will only be permitted at the pool party during their allotted time slot due to limitations on capacity
  • Each dog must have a designated handler for admission — limit one dog per handler
  • All dogs must have a collar, and the owner must have a leash on hand
  • Any dog exhibiting aggressive behavior will be required to leave with no refund
  • Every owner takes full responsibility for his or her dog at all times

Puppapalooza is a rain-or-shine event. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Beacon Animal Rescue, a volunteer-run, no-kill dog and cat rescue serving Cape May and Atlantic Counties. No refunds or rain checks will be issued due to proceeds benefiting local rescues.

More information about the event as well as waiver information can be found on the website. Tickets can be bought at this link. Beach walk and pool party admission costs $40 total for the dog and owner, and $30 for the pool party only. Spectator tickets cost $25.
