Erin Lanahan The Movies on the Beach series is returning to Point Pleasant for the 2026 summer season. The free event series welcomes families to chill on the beach and watch some classic summer blockbusters, as well as some newer releases, right off Jenkinson’s Boardwalk. Here’s a look at the Movies on the Beach schedule in Point Pleasant for the summer 2026 season.

About Movies on the Beach
The annual event series is back for 2026. Movies on the Beach is a free event from Jenkinson’s Boardwalk in Point Pleasant. Families and friends are welcome to bring blankets and chairs to the beach to enjoy a movie under the stars.

Movies are shown from June to September on Tuesday nights at dark. That usually means around 8:30PM, but it could get a little earlier in August as the sun sets earlier. You’ll be able to find the movie screen on the beach in front of Jenkinson’s Aquarium. As per usual, all movie screenings are weather and wind permitting.
New this year: warm up for the movie with Movies on the Beach Trivia. Each Tuesday before the movie starts, 94.3 The Point will start trivia at 7PM, testing moviegoers’ knowledge and giving out prizes.
