The Jersey Shore’s mild winter weather doesn’t always provide the best climate for ice skating. Locals can still enjoy the traditional winter activity at several indoor ice rinks in the area that host public skate sessions for all ages and skill levels. Many ice rinks at the Jersey Shore even have DJ Skate nights on Friday nights — which is a great activity for a girls’ night out, a group hang, or a sporty date night. It is a guaranteed good time no matter how much experience one has on the ice. Just remember to wear warm layers, hats and gloves, and comfortable skating socks. Keep reading for a list of indoor and outdoor ice skating rink options at the Jersey Shore.
