Where To Watch Fireworks at The Jersey Shore for Summer 2024

Every year, the Jersey Shore welcomes locals and bennies to enjoy a quintessential summer experience: fireworks at the beach. A long day of swimming in the ocean, skeeball, sunbathing, ice cream, and funnel cake can only be topped off by enjoying a breezy summer night sitting on a blanket watching a spectacular pyrotechnics show with loved ones. From the eclectic Asbury Park Boardwalk to the family-friendly amusement rides and arcades in Seaside Heights, each location provides a fun and unique fireworks-viewing experience. Read on for a growing list of where to catch fireworks at the Jersey Shore in 2024.

Asbury Park

When: Wednesday, July 3rd, 2024 (Rain date: Friday, July 5th)

Where: 1300 North Ocean Avenue, Asbury Park

Asbury Park will celebrate Independence Day with its annual Fourth of July Fireworks show on Wednesday, July 3rd, 2024. A rain date is scheduled for Friday, July 5th. The fireworks display will begin at 9PM from the Second and Fourth Avenue beaches. The fireworks are best viewed from a spot on the Asbury Park Boardwalk but can be seen from the Ocean Grove and Bradley Beach boardwalks as well. Try to grab a drink at Lowdive or an outdoor table at Tim Mcloone’s Supper Club on the Asbury Park Boardwalk for an elevated fireworks viewing experience.

Atlantic Highlands

When: Friday, July 5th, 2024 (Rain date: Saturday, July 6th)

Where: 2 Simon Lake Drive, Atlantic Highlands

On July 5th, 2024, the Atlantic Highlands will host Fireworks at the Atlantic Highlands Harbor starting at 9:45PM. A rain date is scheduled for Saturday, July 6th. A ​​sunset cruise and fireworks viewing opportunity is available on the Navesink Queen — a Paddle Wheel boat — which will take guests on a leisurely ride across the bay and through the harbor from 7:30PM to 10:30PM. Bradley Beach

When: Friday, July 5th, 2024 (Rain Date: Sunday, July 7th)

Where: Ocean Avenue, Bradley Beach

Bradley Beach’s Independence Day Fireworks will be held on July 5th. Fireworks are launched from the beachfront at dusk. A rain date is scheduled for Sunday, July 7th. Be sure to check the Bradley Beach Facebook for updates.

Keansburg


When: Wednesday, July 3rd, 2024 

Where: 275 Beachway Avenue, Keansburg

Keansburg Amusement Park + Runaway Rapids will light up on Wednesday, July 3rd with its biggest fireworks event ever. Enjoy a fun Summer day at Keansburg Amusement Park and Runaway Rapids waterpark and once the sun sets, take in one of the most beautiful fireworks displays at the Jersey Shore. The Keansburg Amusement Park + Runaway Rapids 3rd of July Fireworks event is free.

Lakewood

When: Select dates throughout April, June, July, and August 2024

Where: 2 Stadium Way, Lakewood

Minor League Baseball team, the Jersey Shore Blueclaws, tops off some of its most popular games with the biggest, brightest, most colorful fireworks shows at the Jersey Shore. Opening night and Thursday, July 4th, are two of the Jersey Shore Blueclaws’ biggest Fireworks shows of the year. The following games will have Post-Game Fireworks Nights in 2024: May 31st, June 14th, June 28th, July 4th (Independence Day), July 5th, July 12th, July 13th, July 26th, August 15th, August 16th, August 30th, and August 31st. Lavallette

When: Sunday, July 7th, 2024 (Rain Date: Sunday, July 14th)

Where: Lavallette Gazebo, Bay Boulevard, Lavallette

On Sunday, July 7th, the town of Lavallette will host fireworks and a concert on the bay side of the barrier island. The event will take place at the Centennial Gardens + Gazebo with a concert at 8PM followed by fireworks at approximately 9PM. The rain date for the fireworks and concert is Sunday, July 14th. Long Branch

When: Thursday, July 4th, 2024

Where: 1 Ocean Boulevard, Long Branch

Oceanfest at Long Branch will celebrate its 32nd year of fireworks and family fun on the Long Branch promenade on Thursday, July 4th, 2024. The Oceanfest Fireworks Celebration fireworks show begins at 9PM on the Fourth of July. Oceanfest is an all-day, family-friendly event that features clowns, dancers, musicians, carnival, arts and crafts, sand sculptures, vendors, and food options. Manasquan

When: Wednesday, July 3rd, 2024

Where: East Main Street, Manasquan

Manasquan will host its annual Independence Day Celebration Fireworks and Concert on Wednesday, July 3rd, 2024. The concert starts at 7:30PM with live music by the local band Wave Length. Fireworks will begin at dusk.

Point Pleasant

When: Every Thursday night from June through August 2024

Where: 300 Ocean Avenue, Point Pleasant Beach

Every Thursday night Jenkinson’s Boardwalk in Point Pleasant Beach hosts an amazing pyrotechnic show right on the beach and boardwalk. Its weekly fireworks shows begin on Thursday, June 20th, and end on Thursday, August 29th. The event is free for families to enjoy. Fireworks displays begin at dark and typically run from 9:30PM to 10PM. Fireworks are wind and weather permitting. Follow Jenkinson’s social media pages for updated info about its Thursday Night Fireworks. For those looking for a more serene fireworks viewing experience, head a few blocks south to any of the beaches in Bay Head and Mantoloking for an unobstructed view of the Jenkinson’s Thursday night fireworks.

Seaside Heights

When: Every Wednesday during July and August 2024

Where: Boardwalk, Seaside Heights

Fireworks kick off at 9:30PM every Wednesday in the Summer — weather permitting — in Seaside Heights. The fireworks are visible from anywhere on the Seaside beach and boardwalk. Guests should get to the boardwalk early to ride some amusement rides, visit the arcades, grab an ice cream cone from Kohr’s, and post up at a prime viewing spot for the fireworks display.
