Popular Morristown Pizza Spot, Coniglio’s, Expanding to the Jersey Shore

Coniglio’s is a widely followed pizzeria in Morristown that has amassed a loyal customer base in its three years of operation. The pizzeria is owned by Nino Coniglio, a 10-time world pizza champion and winner of Food Networks Chopped. The business announced that it will be expanding into the Jersey Shore area with a new location at 629 Mattison Avenue in Asbury Park. Read on for more information about the expansion.

What to Expect

While there is no timeline as of yet, there are a few details on the new spot that have been shared via Morristown Media. To begin with, the pizzeria will start with a limited menu and shorter hours. In the long run, Coniglio’s plans to take over the entire 123-year-old building at 629 Mattison Avenue with the goal of adding a rooftop bar.

The menu of the current location at 11 South Street in Morristown includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner items. The menus include classic heroes and sandwiches, pizza pies, and entrees. Per the Coniglio’s website, Nino first won the World Pizza Championship in 2005 and has won 10 time in total. He was also a winner of Food Network’s Chopped Season 39 episode 4. Nino owns other pizzeria locations in Brooklyn, and the new location will mark the second location in New Jersey.

Coniglio’s shared with The Hoboken Girl that the new restaurant aims to open in two months.
