Now that winter is behind us, for the most part, we’re looking forward to warm summer days sitting on the beach with a refreshing drink in hand. The Jersey Shore Girl learned that a new beverage spot is coming to Bradley Beach this spring, just in time for us to get our beach order ready. The Bev Shack is slated to open just a few blocks from the beach at 801 Main Street. The shack will serve all kinds of beverages, like dirty sodas, iced teas, and sugar-free sips. Here’s what we know about The Bev Shack coming to Bradley Beach.
About The Bev Shack
From Abby Taylor Jordan, the founder of Playa Bowls, comes The Bev Shack. The Jersey Shore native created Playa Bowls with her business partner back in 2014 in Belmar, and it has since expanded to 375+ locations nationwide.
The petite beverage spot is under construction at 801 Main Street in Bradley Beach. It’s just a couple blocks from the beach, so beach bums can take a break from the sun and hydrate “where waves crash and sodas splash.”

It looks like The Bev Shack will have a big menu, including “dirty sodas, lemonades, iced teas, hydration, energy and more,” according to its Instagram.

For those unfamiliar with dirty sodas, it’s a combination of soda, coffee creamer, and flavored syrups. It was made popular in Utah by those who abstain from alcohol and caffeine. Fans of dirty sodas know the popular chain Swig, which has expanded to over 140 locations across the country. Dirty sodas were brought to the mainstream by the popular reality TV show, Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, where the cast of moms are rarely seen without a big soda in hand.

The owner tells JSG the plan is to open by the end of May 2026.
