The Details
SwimCrush isn’t getting boarded up for the off-season. Visitors can still stop by for a large variety of cocktails, rum buckets, frozen margaritas, pina coladas, and more. “Crushed” slushie-like beverages are their thing — hence the bar name. With drinks like Blue Crush, Watermelon Crush, and Cherry Limeade Crush, just to name a few of the crushes, expect the taste of a delicious 7/11 Slurpee mixed with alcohol. The boardwalk bar also has a full food menu featuring sandwiches, salads, and seafood-focused fare.

The eatery is located at 800 Ocean Avenue right on the boardwalk across the street from The Empress Hotel and underneath the Watermark cocktail bar. SwimCrush, which replaced the former Cubacan Restaurant, is owned by BarCo Brands, the group behind Low Dive and The Break, as well as Deal Lake Bar + Co. in Loch Arbour.
SwimCrush bar and grill offers indoor and outdoor seating with ocean views. Plus, it is dog-friendly. Inside, guests will find games like ping pong, giant Jenga, Connect 4, and cornhole as well as live music from local, up-and-coming talent.
