A New Restaurant in Ventnor

According to Culina Mundi’s website, the restaurant was created to bring people together through food and hospitality. Adam, the restaurant’s founder and managing partner, has spent more than 25 years working in the hospitality industry, an experience that helped shape the concept behind Culina Mundi. In a video announcing the restaurant, Adam described his career as spanning dozens of kitchens and dining rooms. He credited the people he has worked with throughout his career as influences on the new restaurant.

“With every wall that goes up, every tile laid, there’s a thank you to every server, a thank you to every buser, every manager, hostess, food runner that I’ve ever worked with that has taught me something that I will live with forever,” Adam said.

As for what guests can expect, Culina Mundi takes a broad approach to its menu, incorporating flavors and dishes inspired by different regions and culinary traditions. The restaurant’s tagline, “Global flavors, local soul,” reflects that concept.

“That’s not just our tagline, that’s a promise from me to you,” Adam said. “We’re serving food from Puerto Rico to Japan, from Europe to New York. Bold, eclectic, real food made right here for you.”

What’s on the Menu?

Culina Mundi’s menu takes a global approach, bringing together dishes and flavors inspired by Mediterranean, Asian, Latin, European, and American cuisines. The menu includes a mix of small plates, entrees, and dishes meant to be shared, with options ranging from cheesesteak empanadas and potato pancakes to wagyu beef tataki and churrasco. The restaurant says its dishes are designed around fresh ingredients and bold flavors, with the menu intentionally drawing from multiple cuisines rather than focusing on one specific region.

“Our menu takes inspiration from Mediterranean, Asian, Latin, European, and American cuisines, with a focus on fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and dishes meant to be shared,” the restaurant states on its website. “Whether you’re joining us for a casual dinner on the patio or gathering with family and friends inside, we invite you to sit back, relax, and enjoy a taste of the world at the Jersey Shore.”
