The Jersey Shore Girl Team 
Summer might be unofficially over, but that’s not slowing down the Jersey Shore dining scene. Two new restaurants have recently opened in the area, including one waterfront dining spot called Lili Oceanfront Restaurant and a place that specializes in ‘Jersey-style’ lasagna called Oolala Lasagna. Read on for more about these two new restaurants at the Jersey Shore.
Oolala Lasagna
This spot specializes in, well, lasagna. It just opened in Brick; it’s BYOB, and no children under age 12 are allowed. The restaurant has appetizers, salads, and desserts in addition to its multiple takes on lasagna. Everything is music-themed, so the dishes have names like Double Time (arancini balls), Garden Prelude (house salad), and Standing Ovation (cheesecake).

The lasagnas are the star of the show, of course. There are seven options, all served with a side salad. In addition to the classic, ‘Jersey-style’ lasagna, there are flavors like the White Sonata, which has ham, spinach and ricotta in a bechamel sauce, and Vegetarian Harmony, which has mushrooms, onions, and peas in a cream sauce.

Oolala also has a four-course meal called The Oolala Experience, where diners pick one item from each section of the menu, all for $55.
Oolala Lasagna is open from 3PM – 11PM Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
Lili Oceanfront Restaurant
Lili Oceanfront Restaurant has opened at 800 Ocean Avenue N. in Asbury Park. It bills itself as Mediterranean-inspired, and the decor looks and feels like you’re on the coast of Greece. The menu is seafood-forward, and there are pizza, pasta, sandwiches, and more to round out the menu.
As gorgeous as it is to visit in the summer, we’ll be glad to have this spot when it’s winter. With its craft cocktails, ‘on island time’ vibes, and fresh flavors, it will be a good respite from those grey days that are just around the corner.

Lili Oceanfront Restaurant is open Monday – Thursday 11:30AM–10:00PM; Friday – Saturday 11:30AM–11:00PM; and Sunday 11:30AM–9:00PM.
