Nothing quite hits the soul like a good Italian dish, and the Jersey Shore has recently welcomed plenty of Italian eateries for authentic dishes. Qua Pizza, a locally-owned restaurant based in Manasquan at 179 Main Street, has recently expanded to Asbury Park with a new location at 504 Main Street. JSG has had the chance to cover Qua, and the verdict is in – it’s an NJ foodie’s dream. Keep reading to learn more about Qua Pizza and its new expansion to Asbury Park.
About Qua Pizza
Qua Pizza, originally based in Manasquan, is an Italian spot owned by a local husband-and-wife duo. It is dedicated to honoring tradition and classic recipes, with a wide menu consisting of traditional Roman square pizzas, fresh salads, classic pastas, heroes on semolina bread, and more. One of JSG’s favorites was the build-your-own pasta option, where customers can walk through a custom-made order with a selection of pasta, sauce, and meat. Every pasta dish comes with a finish of freshly grated cheese, and there are plenty of gluten-free options available as well.

If takeout is more your style, Qua has a creative “Take-N-Bake” option where customers can pre-order a par-cooked Roman square pizza and quickly bake it in their oven at home. JSG pro tip: If you want to try it out, pick it up early, because all Take-N-Bake pizzas are 15% off before 5:30 PM.
Qua Pizza also has a seasonal specials menu, which includes a variety of unique dishes, from spicy chicken heroes to upside-down pizzas. To learn more, see the specials menu here.
About its Asbury Park Expansion
Qua Pizza’s original location is in Manasquan at 179 Main Street, having opened in 2019. Signage for a second location in Asbury Park was seen over the last few months, located at 504 Main Street. The Asbury location has now soft-opened with a limited menu, and will be open Wednesday through Sunday from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
Qua’s expansion to Asbury Park is part of a wave of new Italian restaurants in the city, including Coniglio’s Old Fashioned, which opened on June 12th.
