A New Concert Venue is Coming to Freehold This Summer

One of our favorite parts about Jersey Shore summers is the music — and for 2026, a new concert venue is bringing a whole new lineup of acts to the scene. ParkStage, a collaboration between the Count Basie Center for the Arts and Monmouth County Tourism, makes its debut this summer at East Freehold Park Showgrounds at 1500 Kozloski Road in Freehold. Concertgoers, whether they’re locals or just visiting the shore for the summer, can look forward to a season stacked with live music in a stunning outdoor setting, VIP experiences, and more. About ParkStage

ParkStage is a new outdoor concert venue in Freehold and a joint venture of Count Basie Center for the Arts and Monmouth County Tourism. Located at the East Freehold Park Showgrounds at 1500 Kozloski Road, its opening is part of Monmouth County’s celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, and the Basie Center’s 100th anniversary.

The venue is bringing a totally new vibe to the Jersey Shore live music scene: a park setting, grass underfoot, summer breeze in the air, and plenty of room to dance around to live performances. 

ParkStage has a few ticket options for admission, including:

  • VIP: Includes upgraded amenities, such as dedicated concessions + bar, restroom facilities, an elevated, covered viewing area of the main stage, and freedom to move around the entire ParkStage area.
  • Pit Section: Provides the opportunity to see artists right in front of the stage, with access to general admission as well.
  • General Admission: Access to the main viewing space.

There are also VIP Entertainment Experiences for groups of 25 or more, which include a reserved, dedicated space for your group, VIP parking + early event entry (yes, please!), lounge-style seating, and other amenities. The Summer 2026 Lineup

ParkStage opens the season on Friday, June 19th, with a performance from the punk band Sublime, followed by a lineup that spans rock, country, indie, pop, tribute performances, and more. Some of the bands you can expect are:

  • The Head and the Heart | Friday, June 26th at 7:00 PM
  • Little Steven and the Disciples of Soul + Friends | Friday, July 3rd at 4:00 PM
  • The B-52s | Saturday, July 11th at 7:00 PM (Opener: DRAMARAMA)
  • Thunder 106 presents Bradley Gilbert | Thursday, July 30th at 7:00 PM
  • Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit | Friday, June 31st at 7:00 PM
  • Lake Street Drive | Saturday, August 1st at 7:00 PM
  • Andy Grammer | Saturday, August 22nd at 7:00 PM
  • Almost Queen | Friday, September 4th at 7:00 PM
