Asbury Park Pride Parade

About Jersey Pride + What to Know

Jersey Pride was New Jersey’s very first statewide Pride parade, initially held in 1992 after changes to the state’s Law Against Discrimination. It has since been held every June in Asbury Park and will celebrate its 34th year this summer. The event will be held on Sunday, June 7th, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM. It is the largest statewide LGBTQIA+ celebration in New Jersey, with attendance numbers typically surpassing 20,000 according to its website.

The event will include a parade, rally, and festival. The parade begins at 12:00 PM, starting at Asbury Park City Hall and ending at the event’s Rally + Festival Grounds. The rally, a six-hour concert running from 12:45 PM to 6:00 PM, includes performances and appearances by the New Jersey Gay Men’s Chorus, drag icon and pop singer Adore Delano, the theatrical production The Magic of Pride, and more. For a full list of the rally’s live performer lineup, visit here.

The Jersey Pride festival will run from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with entertainment, a food court, a family zone, vendor pop-ups, a beer tent, and more. Admission is $10 and gives access to all of the festival’s features. Children ages 5 and under are granted free admission. Well-behaved pets are also allowed, but must be socialized, on a non-retractable leash, and fully vaccinated. For more information and a map of the festival grounds, visit here.
