Pride Events in Northern Virginia

Communities in Northern Virginia will celebrate Pride Month in so many ways. From a toddler storytime to teen craft events to community-wide parades to senior prom, there’s something for everyone. And that’s the best part – everyone is welcome. Read on for more about Pride events in Northern Virginia.

City of Fairfax PRIDE Proclamation | City Hall, 10455 Armstrong Street, Fairfax
On Tuesday, May 26th at 7PM, Mayor Catherine Read will proclaim June 2026 as LGBTQIA+ Pride Month. A reception will take place beforehand.

Pride Button Making | Westover Library, 1644 N. McKinley Road #3, Arlington
This free Arlington Pride Month event will take place on Wednesday, June 3rd from 3PM to 5PM. Attendees can make Pride-themed buttons as part of Arlington’s month-long Pride celebrations. 

OUTstanding Pride Event | Courthouse Plaza, near 2100 Clarendon Boulevard, Arlington
This free Arlington Pride Month event is scheduled for Thursday, June 4th from 12PM to 1:30PM. The event is part of Equality Arlington’s June Pride lineup, bringing the community together in Courthouse for a midday celebration. 

Fairfax PRIDE | Stacy C. Sherwood Community Center, 3740 Blenheim Boulevard, Fairfax
Fairfax PRIDE will take place on Saturday, June 6th from 11AM to 1PM. The free, family-friendly event will include community vendors, children’s activities, caricatures, face painting, music, and more. 

Loudoun Pride Festival | Ida Lee Park, 60 Ida Lee Drive NW, Leesburg
Loudoun Pride Festival returns on Saturday, June 6th from 11AM to 6PM. Organizers describe it as the largest Pride event in Northern Virginia, with a full day of community celebration at Ida Lee Park. 

Mosaic’s 5th Annual Pride Celebration | Mosaic 2905 District Avenue, Fairfax
Host Tommy McFly will lead the festivities, which begin at 3PM with a story time with Tara Hoot, and continue with live music from Hall Pass from 4PM – 6PM. 

Saturday Stories, Pride Edition | Herndon Town Green 
This story time will take place on Saturday, June 6th from 11AM – 11:30AM. This is a family-friendly story time event, and children of all ages are welcome. There will be chalk available to color on the sidewalks. 

Pride Party + LGBTQ+ Movie Screening | Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, 1660 Crystal Drive, Arlington + National Landing Water Park, 1601 Crystal Drive, Arlington
Equality Arlington and the National Landing BID are co-sponsoring this free Pride Party and movie screening on Saturday, June 6th, beginning at 3PM. The event will take place between Alamo Drafthouse Cinema and National Landing Water Park.

Stonewall Monument Ranger Talk | Virtual
This free virtual program will take place on Friday, June 12th from 1PM to 2PM. The talk will focus on the Stonewall National Monument and the history behind the modern LGBTQ+ rights movement.

Pride Senior Prom | Arlington Central Library, 1015 N. Quincy Street, Arlington
This free Pride Senior Prom will take place on Friday, June 12th from 7PM to 12AM. The event creates an affirming prom experience for older LGBTQIA+ adults who may not have had the chance to celebrate openly earlier in life.

2nd Friday – Pride | Torpedo Factory, 105 N. Union Street, Alexandria
The 2nd Friday of every month, the Torpedo Factory stays open late for fun workshops and artist activations. On Friday, June 12th from 7PM to 10PM, there will be a Pride edition of the event, with crafts and other activities. 

Alexandria Pride Bar Crawl | Alexandria Bier Garden, 710 King Street, Alexandria
The Alexandria Pride Bar Crawl is scheduled for Saturday, June 20th from 4PM to 10PM. The 21+ event begins at Alexandria Bier Garden and includes multiple venues, drink specials, a digital map, and Pride-themed nightlife throughout the evening. 

PRIDE Storytime | City of Fairfax Regional Library, 10360 North Street, Fairfax
This all-ages PRIDE Storytime will take place on Monday, June 22nd from 10:30AM to 11:15AM. The program will feature affirming books, songs, rhymes, and a rainbow craft. 

The Legacy of Pride | Lubber Run Community Center, 300 N. Park Drive, Arlington
This free Pride Month program will take place on Tuesday, June 23rd from 2PM to 3PM. The event will explore LGBTQ+ history, legacy, and community as part of Arlington’s Pride programming. 

Drag Queen Bingo | Walter Reed Community Center, 2909 16th Street S., Arlington
This free Pride Month bingo event will take place on Tuesday, June 23rd from 6PM to 7:30PM. Attendees can expect a fun, community-centered evening with drag performances and bingo at Walter Reed Community Center. 

Pride Story + Rainbow Scavenger Hunt | Shirlington Library, 4200 Campbell Avenue, Arlington
This free Pride-themed family event will take place on Thursday, June 25th from 4:30PM to 5:30PM. The program includes a Pride story and a rainbow scavenger hunt at Shirlington Library. 

Trivia Night: Pride History | Columbia Pike Library, 816 S. Walter Reed Drive, Arlington
This free Pride history trivia night will take place on Thursday, June 25th from 6:30PM to 7:30PM. The event invites attendees to test their knowledge of LGBTQ+ history in a casual library setting. 

Safe Space NOVA’s 5th Annual Regional Pride Prom | Torpedo Factory Art Center, 105 N. Union Street, Alexandria
Safe Space NOVA’s 2026 Pride Prom: Starry Night will take place on Friday, June 26th from 7PM to 11PM. The event is designed for LGBTQIA+ high school students and allies ages 14 to 20, creating a safe, celebratory prom experience for youth across Northern Virginia and the DMV. 

9th Annual Alexandria Pride | John Carlyle Square Park, 300 John Carlyle Street, Alexandria
Alexandria Pride will take place on Saturday, June 27th from 2PM to 6PM. The all-ages Pride Fair will feature live music, a DJ, LGBTQ+ story time, 100 exhibitors, food trucks, health services, a mobile art lab, dancing, and more. 

HerndonPRIDE Fest 2026 | Arts Herndon, 750 Center Street, Herndon
The 3rd Annual HerndonPRIDE Fest is set for Saturday, June 27th at Arts Herndon. The celebration will include live music, local vendors, activities, theatre, and a children’s “Hands on Art” space. 

Love is Love LGBTQIA+ Book Club: Ordinary Love | Courthouse Library, 2100 Clarendon Boulevard, 1st Floor Lobby, Arlington
This Arlington Public Library book club meeting is scheduled for Saturday, June 27th from 2PM to 3PM. The Pride Month discussion will focus on Ordinary Love by Marie Rutkoski.

Drag Me to Commonwealth | Commonwealth Brewing, 10426 Main Street, Fairfax
Commonwealth Brewing is hosting its first-ever drag brunch on Saturday June 27th from 12PM – 2PM. There will be three performers, a DJ, and more.

6th Annual Penrose Pride Parade | Butler-Holmes Park, 101 S. Barton Street, Arlington
The 6th Annual Penrose Pride Parade is scheduled for Sunday, June 28th from 1PM to 2PM. Attendees are encouraged to wear Pride attire, bring rainbow flags, make signs, and celebrate equality in the neighborhood parade. 

Tween Crafts: Making Pride Sheep with Air Dry Clay | City of Fairfax Regional Library, 10360 North Street, Fairfax
This Pride-themed craft event will take place on Sunday, June 28th from 2:30PM to 3:30PM. Designed for ages 10 to 14, the program invites tweens to make rainbow sheep out of air-dry clay. 

Chill + Craft: Pride Bracelets and Pins | Courthouse Library, 2100 Clarendon Boulevard, Arlington
This free teen craft event will take place on Tuesday, June 30th from 4:30PM to 5:30PM. Middle and high school students can unwind with Pride-themed bracelets, pins, and other low-key creative activities. 

LGBTQ+ Town Hall | Location TBA, Arlington
This free town hall will take place on Tuesday, June 30th from 6:30PM to 8PM. Equality Arlington says the event will include representatives from the Arlington County Board, School Board, and Arlington’s delegation to the Virginia General Assembly, with food and drinks provided.
