This year, Shirlington Italian spot Corso is offering several specials for Mom, including a Mother’s Day version of their popular Girl Dinner.
Thursday, May 7th, available after 3 PM
It’s Girl Dinner, Mamma Mia style! Start Mother’s Day weekend early with Girl Dinner at Corso. Choose two elevated snacks and one handcrafted cocktail or mocktail ($29 per person). Bring your mom, or leave the kids at home and bring your mom friends for a festive dinner with the gals! Every table will have “Moments with Mom” conversation cards, because the best gift you can give her is a real conversation and a night that’s actually about her.
Sunday, May 10th, 10 AM – 3 PM
Corso is also offering Sunday brunch in two ways. Go all in with their All You Can Mangia special: endless Italian small plates for the table plus a hearty main ($29 per person), or keep it classic with the à la carte menu. Every mom will also enjoy a complimentary prosecco toast with her meal. Also new, Corso is rolling out a brunch-only Espresso Martini menu, featuring five indulgent takes on the buzziest cocktail around. Enjoy martinis flavored with Nutella, strawberries & cream or amaretto.
Cheesetique | 2411 Mt Vernon Avenue, Alexandria
On Sunday, May 10, celebrate Mom with Cheesetique’s classic brunch or dinner featuring elevated, cheese-forward classics like Croque Madame, Truffle Mac & Cheese, and Lasagna. The restaurant will be festively decorated with balloons, and every mom will enjoy a complimentary Momosa to toast her special day.
