We love shopping small all year round, but there’s something special about supporting local makers during the holidays. There are several local markets featuring local makers and small vendors in Northern Virginia, each one offering one-of-a-kind items. Read on for more about where to find holiday markets in Northern Virginia this season.

Church Street Stroll | 131 Church Street NE, Vienna
Date: December 1, 6PM–8PM
Mayor Linda Colbert will light the town’s tree as part of a community-wide festival. From 6PM–8PM, guests can enjoy live holiday music, fire pits and s’mores, shopping, ornament decorating, and more. Cost: free.
Manassas Holiday Market & Winter Festival | Manassas Train Depot, 9431 West Street, Manassas
Date: December 5, 4PM–8PM
A festive market in picturesque Old Town Manassas with artisan booths, kids’ crafts, Santa visits, and live holiday music. The pavilion lighting and seasonal décor make for excellent photo ops and evening strolls. Cost: free admission.
