The Fairfax Girl Team 
The team behind Clarity, one of Vienna’s most popular restaurants, has opened a second location of the dining destination in Reston. The new space is located at 1996 Opportunity Way in the new section of Reston Town Center. Guests can expect seasonal flavors, a large wine list, patio seating, and more at the Reston location. About Clarity
Clarity opened in 2015 at 442 Maple Avenue E in Vienna. The restaurant describes its concept as casual fine dining, with a focus on seasonal menus, locally sourced ingredients, and dishes made in-house, including its bread, charcuterie, and pickles.
The restaurant is known for its brunch, dinner, and tasting menus, which are frequently updated with fresh ingredients and new ideas. The restaurant has won several local dining awards, including Upscale Casual Restaurant of the Year at the 2018 RAMMYs.
Reston Location
The new location will be about 4,500 square feet with an outdoor patio. The Fairfax Girl got a sneak peek at the space before its July 24th opening. A large marble-topped wooden bar is the focal point of half the restaurant, while the other half has a floor-to-ceiling glass-fronted wine storage system. There are also spaces for private and semi-private dining.
The menu at the Reston location will be the same or at least similar to that of the Vienna location, with classics like five-spice short rib and sweet corn bisque making the trip.
Clarity will soft open for lunch on Friday, July 24th, eventually adding dinner and happy hour.
