As much as we anticipate Halloween as these October weeks fly by, it’s important to acknowledge Breast Cancer Awareness Month, another major part of the calendar. This period is important for survivors, advocates, and organizations to share their stories, host events for awareness and fundraising, and educate the public on the month’s significance. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2025, The Local Girl has compiled a list of walks and fundraisers happening in Hoboken, Jersey City, Montclair, the Jersey Shore, Bergen County, and greater New Jersey throughout October. Read on to see a list of Breast Cancer Awareness Month events happening in New Jersey this year.
