Hackensack Meridian Children’s Health is introducing four new pediatric specialists to its team, with specialties in pediatric physical medicine and rehabilitation; hematology/oncology; gastroenterology; and rheumatology:
Carly Rothman, D.O. | Pediatric Physical Medicine + Rehabilitation
Carly Rothman, D.O. is a Pediatric Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician with experience in brain and spinal cord injury, concussion, cerebral palsy, electrodiagnosis (EMG) and neuromuscular medicine, and spasticity management.
Dr. Rothman is passionate about improving the function and quality of life of children with disabilities through advanced treatment and is now part of the multi-specialty team that oversees all NICU follow-up care.
Joshua Glass, M.D. | Pediatric Hematology Oncology
Joshua Glass, M.D. is a pediatric hematologist + oncologist who cares for children and adolescents with both cancerous and non-cancerous blood disorders. He treats all types of childhood cancers with a primary focus on leukemia and histiocytic disorders.
Dr. Glass also manages non-malignant blood conditions, such as sickle cell disease, hemophilia, complex anemias, cytopenias, and bone marrow failure. He is dedicated to building strong partnerships with patients and their families to offer strength and clarity through their journey toward healing.

Dr. Leyva carries over a decade of clinical experience and is a published contributor to pediatric hepatology research and is committed to advancing awareness of metabolic dysfunction-associated liver disease (MASLD) in children.
Adam Seth Mayer, M.D. | Pediatric and Adult Rheumatology
