A new bakery and cafe has entered the Edgewater foodie scene, and it comes from an already established local favorite. D’Avant Bakery, which has two other Bergen County locales in Palisades Park and Ridgefield, recently opened its newest store in Edgewater. The bakery is located at 935 River Road. Opening in Edgewater
D’Avant Bakery opened its new Bergen County location in Edgewater a few weeks back. The bakery’s official opening was September 23rd at 935 River Road in Edgewater.

The D’Avant team announced the opening date on September 19th via an Instagram post:
“We’re officially opening in Edgewater! Come visit our brand-new location and be part of the celebration. Opening day: Tuesday, 9/23. 935 River Rd Edgewater, NJ. See you there!”

The Edgewater spot is open from 7AM-10PM daily.
D’Avant Bakery now has a total of three locations in Bergen County, New Jersey. The Palisades Park storefront is situated at 449 Broad Avenue, while the Ridgefield spot — which is also a drive-thru — is located at 321 Broad Avenue.

D’Avant is a bakery and cafe serving up a variety of breakfast items and coffee drinks like matcha and pour-overs. On the menu, customers will find housemade bread, cakes, specialty cakes, pastries, and more. Some of the cake options include petite tiramisu, matcha basque cheesecake, and black sesame cake, among other delicious choices. Specialty cakes require four days’ advance notice, and can only be picked up at the Palisades Park location.
On the coffee front, D’Avant believes that “every coffee is the result of thoughtful choices made along its journey from a well-nourished tree to the final cup,” per the website. The coffee choices include blends from Honduras, the Duromina and Harrar regions of Ethiopia, the Cerrado region of Brazil, and more.
