The 315 Franklin Avenue space in Wyckoff is seeing some changes. In late June, local farm-to-table restaurant Cafe Amici announced its upcoming closure as the spot transitions into a new bar and restaurant under the same ownership. Construction for Wyckoff Tavern was underway as of early June, with plans to open this fall. Now, Wyckoff Tavern is officially open in Bergen County. Wyckoff Tavern
The Cafe Amici space at 315 Franklin Avenue #2096 has officially transitioned into Wyckoff Tavern under the same owners. Cafe Amici first announced the news on June 28th via Instagram, and also confirmed it with The Bergen Girl via Instagram DMs. The restaurant’s last day as Cafe Amici was June 29th, and closed the next day on June 30th to kick off the transformation.

As of July 8th, renovations began in the space. This Instagram post shows some of the work that was being done over the summer.

The original plans were to re-open on July 7th for takeout and delivery, but that date was pushed back due construction taking longer than anticipated.

The menu includes lunch, brunch, and dinner, featuring dishes like chicken dumplings, a variety of pizzas, fettuccine with fresh rock shrimp + a white wine sauce, burgers, steak + eggs, salads, and more. Brunch is served on Sundays at 10AM and also includes a few brunch drink specials like $12 mimosas and Bloody Mary’s. The drink menu includes eight beers on tap, specialty cocktails, signature whiskey cocktails, seasonal cocktails, and wine.

About Cafe Amici
Cafe Amici was a farm-to-table restaurant in Wyckoff serving up American fare with Italian influences — with dishes like mozzarella Caprese, rigatoni bolognese, chicken parm, pizza, burgers, and grilled salmon on the menu. The friendly staff and flavorful dishes made it a go-to neighborhood gem for lunch, dinner, or anything in between. Team BG always appreciated that there was something on the menu for everyone, regardless of preference.
