What started in 2012 as our founder and Editor-in-Chief, Jen Tripucka, started her editorial journey in her local city of Hoboken, New Jersey has turned into a movement across many local towns and regions — all with one purpose in mind: COMMUNITY.
We have a growing network of sister brands through our network, with locals bringing you content about the things that matter most in your area.
- In 2021, our team launched The Montclair Girl, which has grown to our second largest platform behind The Hoboken Girl.
- In 2023, The Local Girl® Media Group launched another online destination, The Jersey Shore Girl — as well as The Catskills Girl.
- The Bergen Girl was launched in 2024 — which is our newest hyperlocal space for North Jersey residents.
Collectively, The Local Girl® brands have over half a million readers monthly as well as 400 K+ organic social followers and growing steadily on all platforms.
