Colonial Park Bakery, originally known as Park Bakery, is one of these vintage Jersey Shore fixtures, and it has now reopened as part of an acquisition from Colonial Bakery, based in Sunset Manor. However, it <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/JerseyShoreHurricaneNews\/photos\/big-news-for-seaside-park-park-bakery-closed-earlier-last-summer-which-led-to-pl\/1320511810114570\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">closed in 2025<\/a>, leading to speculation about what would come to its former space. Rather than being replaced by a new business, Colonial Bakery in Sunset Manor chose to purchase Park Bakery and treat it as a restoration project, turning it into Colonial&#8217;s second location.<\/p>\n<p>Now known as Colonial Park Bakery, the business is located at 408 Southeast Central Avenue in Seaside Park and officially opened to the public on Thursday, July 2nd. &#8220;Taking over such a beloved neighborhood bakery is a privilege we don\u2019t take lightly, and we\u2019re honored to carry on the tradition of serving fresh, quality baked goods made with care,&#8221; the Colonial Park Bakery team shared via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DaQty3LzF2U\/?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Instagram<\/a>. This location was originally in Lavallette, but <a href=\"https:\/\/www.colonialbakerynj.com\/faq\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pivoted after summer 2024<\/a>. Both locations are open 7 days a week, and the new Colonial Park location will be open through Labor Day.
