That was my school down the block. I\u2019d come here after school, see my dad, help, learn stuff, unload trucks. I always did stuff, and it inspired me to stay here and keep going,\u201d he shared.<\/p>\n<p>Today, Jamie and Jason are already looking ahead to the next generation. The couple\u2019s three children regularly attend trade shows with them and are actively involved in the family business.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe definitely hope that our children will take on the next generation of the store,\u201d Jamie said. \u201cWe\u2019re very proud of them. They\u2019re very involved. They\u2019ve always been. He loves Ben Franklin.\u2019 So that keeps us going.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>Looking Toward the Future<\/h2>\n<p>Like many independent retailers, Ben Franklin has faced challenges as online shopping has become increasingly popular.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEveryone knows we have everything. Who knows? We could be one of the longest family-owned businesses ever,\u201d they said.
