A $10 per person admission fee is collected in order to enter and is donated to animal rescue groups and shelters. The bar leases its <a href=\"https:\/\/thelocalgirl.com\/jerseyshore\/best-restaurants-outdoor-seating-asbury-park-nj\/\">outdoor<\/a> space from property owner iStar, which is preparing to build the Lido Asbury Park project on its grounds. Although the development was approved in 2023, the Wonder Bar was permitted to continue using the space until construction began. According to early reports of the luxury condominium development from <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/thecoaster.net\/2022\/11\/22\/160-residential-units-proposed-next-to-the-wonder-bar-plan-would-reduce-outdoor-space-for-yappy-hour\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Coaster<\/span><\/i><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the architectural design of the units will be stacked in such a way that the Wonder Bar\u2019s painting of Tillie (essentially <a href=\"https:\/\/thelocalgirl.com\/jerseyshore\/full-moon-party-asbury-park-nj-the-asbury\/\">Asbury Park<\/a>\u2019s mascot) will be clearly seen, and that the view to the Wonder Bar will remain intact.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This past July, a penthouse at Lido Asbury Park <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.6sqft.com\/asbury-park-penthouse-hits-the-market-for-record-9m\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">sold for $7.6 million<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> sight unseen, as the building has not yet been constructed. The eight-story residential project will occupy the properties bounded by Kingsley Street and Fourth and Fifth Avenues and Ocean Avenue next to the Asbury Ocean Club and the iconic Wonder Bar. The condos are expected to feature floor-to-ceiling windows with ocean views and expansive outdoor terraces, each with a private plunge pool.
