Signage just went up on the windows of the building, which has been undergoing renovations since the start of summer 2024. Dotted by restaurants, <a href=\"https:\/\/thelocalgirl.com\/jerseyshore\/best-jersey-shore-bars-new-jersey\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">bars<\/a>, and local stores, the emptiness of the two-story building since its last tenant moved out over a decade ago has been felt by residents and visitors alike. Tillie is the nickname of a grinning figure painted on the side of the Palace Amusements building in Asbury Park.
