How Does it Work?

Consignment shops — which attract buyers looking for high-quality, secondhand fashion — handle all of the pricing, marketing, and selling of the items. Some shops pay consignors on the spot for used items at drop off while others earn after the items sell in-store. Consigning is a great way to help the environment as it extends the life cycle of garments and reduces textile waste, keeping clothing out of landfills. By consigning, clothes stay in circulation longer, which decreases the demand for new products and minimizes environmental impact. With a mix of vintage treasures, contemporary styles, and designer brands, consignment shopping at the Jersey Shore is both an exciting and rewarding experience.
