The Jersey Shore is buzzing with anticipation for a wave of new businesses set to open in the coming year. From quick-service food joints and trendy restaurants to craft stores and fitness ventures, the shore's vibrant communities are preparing to welcome fresh opportunities for locals and visitors alike. The incoming businesses promise to add excitement and variety to our area, such as a new yoga studio and creative restaurant concepts. Allenhurst
The Reef Club | Allen Avenue + Ocean Place
Mister C’s Beach Bistro, which closed in October, will be occupied by The Reef Club come Summer 2025. The Asbury Park Press reports that The Reef Club will be led by Eli Yedid and Bradley and Lula Rodriguez. Bradley and Lula Rodriguez are a husband and wife restaurateur duo who own Spring Lake Seafood in Spring Lake and Outpost Sushi at the DSN Beach Club in Deal.

Asbury Park
Ebb+Flow Yoga + Wellness | 17-19 Main Street
Ebb+Flow Yoga and Wellness is a hot yoga studio that will open in Asbury Park in 2025. Classes and services will include hot yoga, meditation, and massage therapy. “Our hot yoga classes challenge your strength and focus, while meditation and massage invite you into a space of deep relaxation,” the studio shared on Instagram.
Tillie’s Palace | 574 Cookman Avenue
Tillie’s Palace Bar + Restaurant is “coming soon” to Cookman Avenue in Asbury Park, according to its Instagram account. Signage for the new bar and restaurant was spotted back in October. Tillie is the name of the smiling figure painted on the side of the Palace Amusements building in Asbury Park and can be seen replicated on the side of the Wonder Bar on Ocean Avenue. The new restaurant promises to pay homage to the spirit of Palace Amusements and its official website is currently requesting submissions for visitors to share any historical facts and stories related to it. No information has been released about what kind of food will be served or when it will officially open.
Bradley Beach
Xina | 415 Main Street
Xina, the popular Chinese bistro and sushi and oyster bar in Toms River, is opening a second location in Bradley Beach, New Jersey. The restaurant — known for its creative sushi and Chinese entrées — is currently under construction at 415 Main Street in Bradley Beach which used to house a 7-Eleven. The Asbury Park Press reports an early 2025 opening.
Brick
Cava | 1042 Cedar Bridge Avenue
Cava, the popular Mediterranean fast-casual restaurant, will officially open its first Jersey Shore location in 2025. Cava will replace the former Atlanta Bread in Brick Plaza. Cava is known for its customizable bowls, pitas, and vibrant dips like hummus and harissa. It currently has nine other locations open in New Jersey.
Holmdel
Jersey Pickleball Club | 101 Crawfords Corner Road
Jersey Pickleball Club is expected to open an indoor pickleball facility at the Bell Works complex in Holmdel, New Jersey in February/March of 2025. Bell Works will be Jersey Pickleball Club’s flagship location while more New Jersey locations are on the way, according to its website. Exclusive “Founding Member” membership rates are currently provided to members who sign up before the club opens.
Long Branch
Bear’s Yoga Den | 131 Brighton Avenue
Bear’s Yoga Den will officially open in Long Branch on Saturday, January 18th, 2025 by instructors Bella Purcell and Carla Anderson. “Bear’s Yoga Den will be a wellness sanctuary where everyone feels welcome,” Bella told JSG, “We’re primarily a hot yoga studio, but we're also excited to offer yin and restorative yoga, hot weighted sculpt classes, and some non-heat related options. In addition, we’ll host transformative workshops, including sound baths, breathwork sessions, meditation, and specialized 2-hour yoga workshops that allow for deep exploration of specific themes or techniques.” Follow @bearsyogaden on Instagram for more information about the studio’s opening and classes.
MOGO Korean Fusion Tacos | 10 Centennial Drive
MOGO Korean Fusion Tacos — a favorite Asbury Park taco shop — will be opening up its third location at the Pier Village in Long Branch. MOGO’s website currently lists the Long Branch location as “COMING SOON!” The Pier Village MOGO will be located across from McLoone's Pier House.
Monmouth County
Perkins Griddle + Go | TBD
The owner of Perkins, an American casual dining restaurant chain, is launching a new concept called Perkins Griddle + Go, a cafe-style restaurant chain, at the Jersey Shore. The company told the Asbury Park Press that Lisa Dalton and Anthony Degrande, a mother and son duo from Colts Neck, have signed on to open ten Perkins Griddle + Go franchise locations in New Jersey, with the first expected in Monmouth County by October 2025. They have not yet selected a location. Perkins Griddle + Go menu features breakfast classics like omelets, eggs benedict, French toast, and buttermilk pancakes. The restaurant will reportedly serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner and have a Perkins bakery.
Ocean Township
Alpha Gym | 1502 NJ-35
According to signage on the building, Alpha Gym will be opening in Middlebrook Plaza on Route 35 near Kohls. Alpha Gym will be opening in the space of the former Ciné Grand Middlebrook. The building has been vacant since the movie theater closed in 2019. Although no information can be found online about the future gym, the Asbury Park Press reports that Alpha Gym is owned by a fitness company called Sky Fit Gym.
Hobby Lobby | 2200 NJ-66
Hobby Lobby — the arts and crafts chain store — will open in Neptune Plaza Shopping Center on Route 66 in Ocean in 2025. This is the retailer’s fourth location in Monmouth County with stores in Howell, Holmdel, and Marlboro. Hobby Lobby will take the place of Marshalls and Homegoods, which relocated to the Seaview Square Mall across Route 66 in 2020.
Shrewsbury
Just Salad | 1021 Broad Street
Just Salad is preparing to open in the former Boston Market location in a shopping plaza at 1021 Broad Street in Shrewsbury. Just Salad has seven locations across New Jersey, including one that opened at Brook 35 Plaza in Sea Girt at the beginning of 2024. The opening date for the Shrewsbury location has not yet been announced.

Toms River
Fat Patty’s Toms River | 1111 Route 37
Fat Patty’s burger bar is opening its first New Jersey location in Toms River in the new year. According to Patch, the owner and leadership team at Fat Patty’s confirmed the new Toms River location will open on Route 37 within the next few weeks. The new burger joint has taken over the space formerly the Mellow Mushroom and briefly Lot 11 Eleven. Fat Patty’s features a menu with reasonable prices and options such as 16 different kinds of burgers.
