The New Jersey Primary Election was today, June 10th, and residents around the Jersey Shore and beyond voted for the Governor nominees. The gubernatorial election for New Jersey's next Governor will take place in November, and there is one candidate from the Jersey Shore on the Primary Election ballot. About the Election
A total of 18 candidates are running in the 2025 New Jersey Governor Primary election.
The Republican candidates include: Justin Barbera, Jon Bramnick, Jack Ciattarelli, Bill Spadea, and Mario Kranjac.

The Democrat candidates include Ras Baraka, Steven Fulop, Josh Gottheimer, Mikie Sherrill, Sean Spiller, and Steve Sweeney.
The write-in candidates include Roger Bacon (Republican), Monica Brinson (Republican), Robert Canfield (Republican) from Brick, Hans Herberg (Republican), Stephen Zielinski (independent), Gerardo Cendrone (independent), and Karen Zaletel (independent).

Early voting took place from June 3rd through June 8th, and the polls are open today through 8PM. The gubernatorial election for New Jersey Governor will be held on November 4th, 2025.
