Everyone knows February is the month of love, and here at The Jersey Shore Girl, there's no better time to celebrate with friends. Galentine's Day lands on the 13th of the month — yet the Jersey Shore has so many friendship-themed activities that the platonic loves of our lives could be honored every day of this month. The JSG made a list of some of our favorite activities to pay tribute to Galentine's. Keep reading for a guide to Galentine's activities at the Jersey Shore.

Make a Custom Friendship Bracelet at Arm Vibes | 658 Cookman Avenue, Asbury Park

Arm Vibes Bracelet Bar is a permanent jewelry experience located in Asbury Park. It's a cute activity to do with friends — just book an appointment online for a bead bar or permanent jewelry experience. There's a bracelet option for everyone in the group chat: birthstone, gold-filled clasp, stretchies, or the Morse code bracelet. While at Arm Vibes, JSG recommends highlighting the Galentine's vibe by making a custom letter (friendship) bracelet.

Get a Happy Hour Blowout at Boho Hair Salon | 621 Lake Avenue, Asbury Park

Boho Hair Salon is a chic boutique hair salon with an all-inclusive female salon experience in Asbury Park. If looking for a beauty experience to share with a friend, Boho Hair Salon has 'New Talent Happy Hour Blow Outs' on Thursdays from 5PM  until 7PM and Fridays from 6PM until 8PM for $50. As shown in the name, the salon has special styling options to get your hair done with your bestie; Beach Waves allows clients to pick from retro, soft, or beach waves. The hair salon also has a Montclair location.

Attend a Cake Slice Saturday at Chocolate Carousel | 2510 Belmar Boulevard, Wall Township

Chocolate Carousel is a family-owned and operated bakery and dessert shop in Wall. JSG loves its Cake Slice Saturday — an open house event on the third Saturday of each month from 11AM to 2PM.  Since cake tastings aren't just for upcoming weddings, this Galentine's Day, you and your friends can get a cake flight with slices from five cakes and two cups of coffee for $18. There are wine glasses for groups that want to BYOB and vintage board games for the girls to play while tasting the cakes. FYI: Tickets are available at the door.

Go for a Demure Girl Dinner at Ember + Eagle | 2000 Lowther Drive, Eatontown

Ember + Eagle is an Italian-inspired chophouse inside TillingHouse, an event venue in Eatontown. It's a fun pick for a demure girls' dinner — upon arrival, it sets an elegant vibe with a luxurious aesthetic. The dinner menu tops off the upscale feeling with options like the seafood tower, which is good for sharing. After dinner, JSG recommends ending the night by checking out the Parlor Bar, which often has live music.

Dance + Listen to Live Music at Jamian's | 79 Monmouth Street, Red Bank

Jamian's is a casual bar and restaurant in Red Bank. It serves American bites and late-night dining. Jamian's makes the Galentine's Jersey Shore prime list of activities as it is a fun location to see a live band and dance. On Thursdays, the live music starts at 8PM, and on Fridays and Saturdays, it begins at 9PM.

Take a Candle Pouring or Pottery Workshop at Lovelight Handmade | 57 Main Street Suite 3, Bradley Beach

Lovelight Handmade is a multi-purpose studio in Bradley Beach that hosts pottery and candle workshops. Some options of workshops at Lovelight Handmade include candle pouring, pinch pot mug, or JSG's favorite — the hug-a-pot experience (which would be so adorable for besties to do together). There is also a section for the girls to shop — the retail area in the front of the shop has self-cafe items and cute handmade gift ideas.

Learn Aerial Yoga at Metta Yoga | 504 Waverly Avenue, Tinton Falls

Metta Yoga is a heated yoga studio located in Belmar and Neptune. It has infrared heated yoga classes such as vinyasa flow, yin, and slow flow. JSG thinks a fun option for a shared fitness experience is to take one of Metta's aerial yoga classes, which will get everyone floating above the ground for Galentine's Day.

BYOB + Eat Authentic Mexican Food at Mi Lupita's Kitchen | 78 Bridge Avenue, Red Bank

Mi Lupita is a low-key Mexican restaurant in Red Bank. Mi Lupita is beloved by locals for its birria tacos, and it has all those classic dishes like quesadillas, burritos, and enchiladas. JSG recommends getting the loaded Mexican street fries and ordering a virgin margarita that can be 'mocked up' for a chill Galentine's dinner. FYI: Mi Lupita's is just steps away from the Red Bank train station, making this a convenient location for BYOB.

Schedule a Private Charcuterie Class at Molly Boards | 627 Arnold Avenue, Point Pleasant Beach

Molly Board's is a trendy catering service with a storefront in Point Pleasant. Its cozy shop is a fun destination for a girls' day — browse the pre-made charcuterie boxes and select handmade and locally crafted items. Or, book a private charcuterie party class, where you and your friends will get step-by-step instructions on how to build a charcuterie board. Molly Boards is BYOB, and it also hosts off-site classes (so making it a girls' night in activity is a tempting option).

Take a Flower Design Class at Narcissus Floral Atelier | 1490 NJ-37, Toms River

Narcissus Floral Atelier is an experimental studio space in Spring Lake. Narcissus Florals is a florist that hosts educational workshops and private flower-themed events. For Galentines, customers can gather friends and experience a hands-on course teaching floral arranging, seasonal centerpieces/décor, and watercolor classes.

Drink Italian Coffee + Shop for Plants at The Plant Lady's House | 1800 NJ-35 Unit 2, Oakhurst

The Plant Lady's House is a plant cafe located in Oakhurst. The cafe, surrounded by greenery and decorated from floor to ceiling, serves up European cafe-themed options: espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, Cafe au lait, and French press. Customers can also sip on a full-leaf tea selection while shopping for indoor and outdoor plants, a fun option for a daytime activity for a girl's day out.

Attend Renault Winery's Country Sundays | 72 Bremen Avenue, Egg Harbor City

Renault Winery is a resort and winery located in Egg Harbor City. Galentines + wine is a match, so the wine-tasting room at Renault is a good place to start. Renault has champagnes, reds, and whites and hosts guided winery tours. There is Girl's Day Out on the last Saturday of every month, with live music from 12PM to 4PM. Or, get together with the girls on a Sunday and attend Renault's Country Sundays — there is live country music and options for a sangria or champagne tower and chicken wings.

Experience the Brunch Buffet at Rooney's | 100 Ocean Avenue North, Long Branch

Rooney's is an oceanfront seafood restaurant in Long Branch. It wouldn't be a Galentine's without a brunch option, so JSG couldn't forget about Rooney's brunch buffet, available every Sunday from 10AM until 1:30PM. For $55 a person, customers get a complimentary mimosa and access to the buffet with sushi, a raw bar, a carving station, classic breakfast plates, and salads. JSG likes to end the Galentine's brunch at Rooney's by dipping its (many) dessert options into the milk chocolate fountain.

Go for Afternoon Tea at Sweet Tease Tea Room | 604 Main Street, Belmar

Sweet Tease Tea Room is a charming cafe in Belmar that serves breakfast, light lunch, and, of course, a variety of teas. The Afternoon Tea experience, which JSG feels is a fitting environment for celebrating friendship, is a 90-minute seating and includes a four-course meal. During this time frame, customers get two bottomless pots of tea, a starter course, savories, scones, and sweets; the afternoon tea experience is served Wednesday through Sunday with seating at 11AM + 1PM. Reservations are required and must be made by calling Sweet Tease Tea Room at least 24 hours in advance. See a Show at Two River Theater | 21 Bridge Avenue, Red Bank

Two River Theater is a professional, not-for-profit, regional theater company producing plays and educational programs in Red Bank. The performances often include American and world classics, new plays, and musicals. Two River Theater is a good option for friend groups who want to see a show that feels community-based — plus, the location of downtown Red Bank makes it easy to grab dinner or drinks after the performance.
