From new food spots to creative retail stores, these additions bring a vibrant array of new places to visit. Keep reading to learn more about these new businesses coming to the Asbury Park Boardwalk and what makes each one worth a stop.
Chris Turk Swim | 1100 Ocean Avenue (4th Avenue Pavilion), Asbury Park
Chris Turk Swim is a vibrant addition to the Asbury Park Boardwalk, offering inclusive swimwear designed for all body types. The styles are inspired by the queer community and infused with a touch of the ’70s disco flair. Turk’s fashion can be worn seamlessly from a day at the beach to a night out dancing in the streets of downtown Asbury. Beachgoers can stop by the store for some beach fashion, sassy hats, and cleverly worded totes to put all of those purchases in.

It’s Taffy | 1200 Ocean Avenue, Asbury Park
It's Taffy is a new addition to the Asbury Park Boardwalk, offering a nostalgic nod to the classic Jersey Shore candy. Visitors can expect floor-to-ceiling walls of brightly colored treats, ranging in colors and flavors, which are sure to please any visitor. As a fresh face among Asbury Park's sweet shops, It's Taffy adds to the boardwalk's enduring charm.
La Lune | 1100 Ocean Avenue (4th Avenue Pavilion), Asbury Park
La Lune boutique features eccentric, feminine, high-quality clothing and products, either handmade in New Jersey, designed by the owner, or curated from small boutique wholesale vendors. A DIY charm bar is one of the prominent points of the store, just adjacent to a rack full of whimsical colors and patterned dresses perfect for the summer season.
Mutiny Beach | 1300 Ocean Avenue, Asbury Park
The team behind the Asbury Park storefront of Mutiny BBQ Company brings a new second location to the boardwalk. This small-batch, Southern-style barbecue features flavors from Texas, the Carolinas, Memphis, Kansas City, and Louisiana, creating a style of food unique to just this restaurant. The venue has a laid-back atmosphere, perfect for beachgoers and evening strollers. Get there early if a certain craving hits for their pulled pork or ribs, because just like its other location, once they run out for the day, that’s it!
Offshore Coffee | 1300 Ocean Avenue, Asbury Park
The Offshore Coffee company is opening up its doors in the Asbury Convention Hall for a much-needed blend of coastal vibes and coffee excellence. Offshore is known for its responsibly sourced single-origin coffee and cold brews, and also has a selection of pastries and light bites. As the only coffee shop on the block, it is a welcome addition to the Boardwalk’s vibrant scene.
Palmetto | 1000 Ocean Avenue, Asbury Park
Palmetto is a vibrant South Carolina-inspired restaurant offering a menu that celebrates Southern cuisine. Some of the more unique menu items feature pimento mac and cheese, skillet cornbread with honey lavender butter, crab and collard dip, and fried green tomatoes. The drink menu has a range of cleverly named cocktails such as the Okra Winfrey and the Snaquiri Oyster Shooter. With its relaxed yet polished atmosphere, Palmetto brings a taste of Southern hospitality to the Jersey Shore.
Promised Land | 1200 Ocean Avenue (5th Avenue Pavilion), Asbury Park
Every boardwalk needs a made-to-order apparel store, and Promised Land answered the call. Located in the 4th Avenue Pavilion, the store features over 100 unique Asbury Park-themed designs. In addition to apparel, it has all beach day needs, including chairs, beach blankets, sun screen, and even sunglasses.
Shucked by Local 130 Seafood | 1300 Ocean Avenue, Asbury Park
From the team behind Local 130 Seafood comes Shucked, a new seafood-focused restaurant inside Asbury Park’s historic Convention Hall. Owners Eric Morris and Michael Kenlay created the concept after realizing the city lacked a dedicated spot for fresh, local seafood; they certainly had access to just that. After sampling seafood restaurants up and down the Jersey Shore, the duo finalized a menu featuring crowd favorites like fish and chips, linguini with clams, a soft-shell crab sandwich, and of course, freshly shucked oysters. The vibe is slightly upscale, yet approachable, perfect for a post-beach bite or post-oardwalk jog snack.
Sweet Tooth | 1100 Ocean Avenue, Asbury Park
Fans of the former Chocolate Moonshine Company on the boardwalk will be happy to know the space is now home to Sweet Tooth. The rebranded shop offers fudge, cheesecake, and milkshakes, plus a variety of rum cakes that rotate regularly. A standout treat that is drawing buzz in the form of “likes” from a post made by the store’s Instagram account is the Dubai Chocolate Strawberry Cup made with Melted Belgian Chocolate, homemade pistachio cream, fresh strawberry, katafi, and chopped pistachios.

Unwind Records + Comics | 1100 Ocean Avenue (4th Avenue Pavilion), Asbury Park
Unwind Records and Comics is a one-of-a-kind new shop that combines the magic of music and comic book culture under one roof. The shop features new and used comic books such as Batman and The Black Hammer. Visitors can flip through crates of records and will see classic artists such as A Tribe Called Quest and Iggy Pop, along with newer sensations like Billie Eilish and Olivia Rodrigo. The store even has a Spotify playlist under the namesake of the store called unwindrecordsandcomics.
