They both have a background in the hospitality industry&nbsp; &#8211; they met on the first day of classes at the Culinary Institute of America and have worked in kitchens, bakeries, restaurants, and venues in the NYC and DC area since 2010. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Alex\u2019s interest in growing flowers developed during the COVID-19 pandemic while she + her husband were landscaping their home. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Quince Blossom Ridge later grew from that interest in flowers, hospitality, + events. The property also functions as a wedding venue. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The farm\u2019s name reflects those influences.
