The commercial space had sat vacant for years before undergoing significant renovations to become Cafe Et Lait\u2019s newest location. We spoke with David Clesmere, a longtime Bergen County resident, who said he remembers the storefront being empty for more than 10 years and couldn\u2019t recall what had occupied the space before that. David said he\u2019s happy to see new life brought to this side of town, especially with Sharon Plaza and several restaurants already drawing locals to the area.
