The Hot Room by CoreHouse at 688 Westwood Avenue in River Vale opened this summer and offers just that. Founded by two local sisters, Jennifer Vallejo and Victoria Ryan, The Hot Room is one of the newest studios on the scene, offering various hot sculpt classes for all different levels. Inspired by their dad, who was always into fitness, they started doing Lagree classes together in college. After recovering from an injury, low-impact movement became even more important, and they both became certified in XFormer training.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-238480 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/thelocalgirl.com\/jerseyshore\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2026\/09\/the-hot-room-owners-800x800.png\" alt=\"Owners of The Hot Room\" width=\"450\" height=\"450\"><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As they were teaching at other studios and taking classes themselves, they felt like the classes they loved to take were missing from our area. She learned the space was already under contract but had a gut feeling and kept persistently in touch with the realtor. The other tenant ended up falling through, and they were able to take over.<br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-238481 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/thelocalgirl.com\/jerseyshore\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2026\/09\/the-hot-room-inside-800x800.png\" alt=\"The Hot Room\" width=\"450\" height=\"450\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>While they love that it\u2019s a convenient location right in downtown River Vale, they also felt one of the most important things was having plenty of parking, so that there is no stress arriving to class. Sweat. Shake.\u201d No detail goes unnoticed, with designated baskets and cubbies for props as well as anything you could possibly need for a refresh post-workout in the bathroom. They are also hosting tons of various pop-ups with other businesses, including a matcha station, a DIY bedazzle bar, as well as a charm bracelet event.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>The Classes<\/h3>\n<p>There are four different types of classes offered: Slow Burn, Pilates Burn, Strength &amp; Burn, and Power Burn, giving you the option of whatever level of workout you\u2019re looking for. All classes are 45 minutes long, which is just long enough to get a really good workout in, but not too long that it derails your whole day.<br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-238482 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/thelocalgirl.com\/jerseyshore\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2026\/09\/the-hot-room-set-up-800x800.png\" alt=\"The Hot Room\" width=\"450\" height=\"450\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Conveniently, mats, weights, etc. are all provided, so no need to lug anything with you. Since the studio uses infrared heat, your body is gently warmed directly rather than warming the air around you. This helps with deeper movement and circulation, providing all the benefits of heat without an uncomfortable experience. After taking a class, Casey from Team BG can confirm &#8211; it was a challenge and really makes you sweat! However, the instructor provided tons of modifications throughout class, making it easy for anyone from a first-timer to a seasoned pro to have a great workout.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At CoreHouse, the mantra is \u201cMovement is Medicine&#8221; and according to Jennifer and Victoria, \u201cas long as you\u2019re moving, that\u2019s all that matters\u201d.
